How to Extract PPSSPP Game Data File
When you download PPSSPP game data file, it can be in any of the following formats; .iso, .cso, .zip, .rar or .7z.The playable formats of the PPSSPP games are .ISO and .CSO. Which means you can start playing the game right away. Open PPSSPP app and go to the folder where you downloaded the game in then tap on the game icon to launch the game.
Other formats (.7z, .zip and .rar) of PPSSPP games are compressed and so you need to extract them before you can start playing the game. In this article, you will learn how to extract PPSSPP games (in .7z, .zip and .rar format) and play on your android phone. So, let's dive in!.
There are many apps out there that you can use to extract your PPSSPP game data file but I will recommend RAR archiver app.

RAR lets you keep broken file while extracting the game data file so you don't have to worry about extraction error. PPSSPP Game Installation Procedure:
- Download and install RAR archiver app from Google play store.
- Open the app and Go to the folder where you downloaded the PPSSPP game data file in .7z, .zip or .rar format.
- Tap on the game file to open and you'll find the .iso or .cso format in there.
- Press and hold to select the game data file and click "Extract files..." from the pop-up.
- Select the destination folder where you want to extract the game and click "OK" to start extracting your game file.
- Once extraction completes, Open the PPSSPP app you installed previously and go to the folder where you extracted the PPSSPP game file.
- Tap on the game icon to launch the game and start playing.
