All you need is your WhatsApp application and a file managing app installed on both the phone you will used to transfer the apk file(the sender's phone) and the one to receive it(the receiver's phone).

Without wasting much of our time, let's go to the step by step guide on how to transfer apk file on WhatsApp. In this method of sending Apk files, there are different steps analyze below to take on the sender's phone and on the receiver's.

Steps to take on the sender's phone...

If you don't already have the Apk file (i.e .apk format), you need to extract it from the app you installed on your phone.

How To Do This

  • Launch your file managing app (let's take Xplore as an example) if you already have it installed on your phone. If not, download Xplore file manager by clicking here, install and launch it.
  • Navigate to App Manager, select to show the list of installed apps.
  • Mark all the installed apps you want to send to your friend.
  • Switch Xplore pane to the second one by clicking the top right or left sidebar, depending on the pane you are currently at(maybe left or right pane).

  • Switch back the pane, then press and hold one of the installed app you marked.

Now, the remaining actions to be performed will be on the receiving phone.
