How To Edit Template Code Using Xplore
- Download Xplore file manager by clicking here, if you don't have it already installed on your phone.
- After successful download, install it.
- Open your browser and go to your blogger dashboard, click theme.
- At the top right of the page, click backup/restore then click download to save the file on your phone.
- After successful download, close your browser and launch Xplore.
- Find the folder you downloaded the file in. It is usually named 'Download' if you use Google chrome browser to download the file.
- Make a backup of your theme-
- In case you don't know, Xplore is a dual (2) pane file manager. Switch the pane by clicking the top right or left side of the page you are.
- Choose the folder to backup your theme.
- Switch back to the folder you downloaded your theme.
- Press and hold the file, then click copy and OK to backup your theme to the selected folder.
- After backup, click your template file to open it.
- Click the 3 dots at the top right corner then click edit file to go into editing mode.
- After making your customization, click the menu button at the top right corner then click save to save your template. You're done!.
- Launch your browser and go to your blogger dashboard.
- Click theme then click backup/restore.
- Tap on choose file (then on document if you are using Google chrome browser).
- Select the edited theme and click upload to apply your changes.
